YOUR IMPACT
As a sales representative at Schloegel, you'll have the opportunity to sell custom-designed residential projects, including kitchens, bathrooms, additions, whole home renovations, and exteriors, to affluent Kansas City homeowners. If it's a home project, you can sell it, and we can build it! You will be in the driver's seat, managing your day-to-day sales activities and setting achievable yearly goals. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build a comprehensive knowledge of Schloegel's value proposition and target market.
- Develop qualified relationships, expanding Schloegel's network within the Kansas City market.
- Attend local networking events, chamber meetings, etc.
- Think outside the box to foster new relationships.
- Build a personal marketing plan to generate strong leads and sales skills. In addition to a steady flow of warm leads you will be responsible for creating new accounts.
- Maintain high levels of ethics, morals, and standards in sales and implementation.
- Stay continually motivated with a strong desire to grow the brand and customer base.
- A solid and diverse knowledge of the products and services we offer/install.
- Market the Schloegel brand and its capabilities to each customer and potential customers.
- Maintain high performance and customer satisfaction to ensure customer loyalty.
- Work with senior Schloegel management to implement successful sales and growth strategies.
- Meet or exceed sales goals of $2,000,000+ in the first year with growth to $5,000,000 by year three.
- Thoroughly communicate contract terms to potential customers.
- Work with designers on each sale to ensure the client's needs/wishes are met, and every project is met with Schloegel's guarantee of the ultimate client experience.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and project completion.
- Work closely with marketing to create and implement new strategies.
- Receive training on new ventures and trade-specific items.
- Learn and utilize Schloegel's software solutions.
- Stay active in Kansas City's National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI).
- Your success will lead to company growth and may lead to exciting new responsibilities not listed here.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU
- Base Salary between $80,000 + uncapped commission

WHAT YOU NEED
- Bachelor's degree or higher OR equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.
- Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Driver's license and reliable car that is professional in appearance.
YOU SCHEDULE
If you love flexibility, this role is for you. It's not a typical 8:00 am to 5:00 pm position; however, we expect you to work ~40 hours a week and put in the time necessary to ensure you meet or exceed your goal. Being on time, dressing professionally, and coming prepared every day will be crucial to your success and an essential part of our unique way of doing business.
