An ADP Client, ERB Industries is actively seeking for a Regional Sales Manager to join their sales team in the Gulf Coast East Region.
Additional job details:
- This Regional Sales Manager will directly oversee the Gulf coast East Region
- Reports to the National Sales Manager
- Full Benefits offered for full-time employment
- This person will be based 100% remote out of the territory they would be managing – Can be sitting in Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, or Tennessee
- Will be travelling 50% of the time
- Car allowance provided and all gas is covered
Role and Responsibilities:
The Gulf Coast East Regional Sales Manager is accountable to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets and to increase market share within the assigned region. She / He will work to position ERB and Delta Plus products as the first choice for personal protective equipment within the assigned region through a focus on quality products and an unwavering dedication to the consumer. The Gulf Coast East RSM will work with distributors and consumers of personal protective product within the following states:
- Alabama
- Arkansas
- Louisiana
- Mississippi
- Tennessee

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Builds and maintains effective long-term business relationships and a high level of satisfaction with key senior-level decision makers and influencers at a select group of accounts and consumers.
- Work with a defined set of customers to meet revenue targets by increasing revenue spend per customer, and by identifying, developing, and closing new sales opportunities.
- Creates demand for ERB / DP products and services by developing awareness, support and trust with distributors and consumers within target markets.
- Strategically positions ERB / DP product/services so they are the distributor’s first choice.
- Monitors competitive activity in each account and ensures that appropriate response strategies are formulated and communicated to expand depth and breadth of product.
- Must be able to provide superior account management and establish account action plans that lead to successful completion of initiatives and company goals.
- Manage assigned distributors ensuring mindshare for ERB / DP. This includes product updates, training, event participation, and new product launches.
- Develop pull-through business with consumers of personal protective equipment.
- Stays informed about market and customer trends to ensure ERB Industries’ products and pricing remain competitive.
- Works closely with participating buying groups to maximize penetration within member distributors
- Works as a liaison between customer base and Company to maximize customer satisfaction and retention
- Effectively follows up on leads
- Represents Company at local and national trade association shows and buying group conferences
- Prepares region reports as required
- Monitors and evaluates the activities, products, and pricing of the competition and communicates relevant information to supervisor
- Assist in the disposal of excess or discontinued product
- Other duties as required or assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities for regular full-time / part-time ERB employees
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
To successfully perform within this position, the employee must demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills. He/She must be able to present him/herself professionally and confidently to the customer base and end users. She/He must understand the safety market and the needs of our customer base and end users and relate that understanding to ERB Industries’ and Delta Plus Corporation’s product offering.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four year college or university or industry experience totaling six years. Must understand and be functional in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Prefer experience selling to distributors within the STAFDA channel and end-user / consumers of our safety product offering.
Language Skills:
Must have the ability to effectively present information and products to core customer base and respond to general requests as presented. Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Must have the ability to write reports, develop business correspondence, and procedures.
Mathematic Skills:
Must have the ability to determine basic figures and amounts such as:
- Discounts
- Margin
- Commissions
- Percentages
- Proportions
- Area
- Circumference
- Volume
- Must have the ability to utilize basics of algebra and geometry
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to interpret and understand instructions when delivered in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Must have the ability to reasonably assess situations and ask relevant questions in order to position ERB and Delta Plus’ products as the first choice of the customer
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Employees within the United States must also be an US citizen
Physical Demands:
