To do this, we need the right Talent to join us as a Regional Sales Manager for our NAPA Filters & Heavy-Duty (HD) Division. An amazing opportunity for the right person! This person will report directly to a very supportive General Manager- NAPA Filters & HD .
The Role:
The Regional Sales Manager for NAPA Filters & Heavy-Duty Division will direct, guide, and support the NAPA Sales team to grow market share and to add the proper inventory into all NAPA stores through close collaboration with NAPA Distribution Centers and Divisions.

What you will need to do to succeed in this role:
- Manage individual Team members to above quota on a monthly and annual basis
- Manage Region expenses on a monthly and annual basis
- Consistent contact and successful relationships with the store, distribution center, and division management
- Increase NAPA Store business - new and existing customers
A Day in the life:
- Implement and direct a field sales plan within the assigned sales region to achieve stated sales goals
- Train, supervise, motivate, and develop sales personnel to attain or exceed their sales territory sales goals
- Appropriately allocate total regional sales budget and control expenses within assigned budget to meet or exceed business objectives
- Routinely make field contacts with regional sales representatives to provide product training & employee development along with oral and written feedback on effectiveness and potential
- Implement and direct a field sales plan within the assigned sales region to achieve stated sales goals
- Implement sales programs and ensure all District Managers and distribution center awareness
- Routinely contact and communicate with the distribution center, divisions, stores, customers
- Ensure product and training classes are held
- Work with the suppliers to resolve any supply issues
- Report required information to General Manager and Division Vice Presidents as needed
- Direct and manage the sales activities of the District Sales Managers
- Provide accurate sales projections and utilize strategic planning to improve sales
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent sales/marketing experience
- 5 - 7 years of previous selling experience
- Some previous leadership experience coaching, managing, and developing others
- Must have at least 2 years of Heavy Vehicle parts experience
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Strong personal drive and self-motivation to accomplish sales goals
- Analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to provide innovative solutions to opportunities and problems
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
