8721 Oak Ridge Highway, Knoxville, TN 37931

Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm

Position Overview Responsible for all clerical duties at the Knox Auto Parts. Duties include answering phones, filing and assisting customers. Will maintain great relationships with customers and provide excellent customer service.

Essential Job Functions

• Answer customer inquiries via phone or face to face
• Operate a register and handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Count, organize, and balance cash drawer.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional manner.
• Make sure office area is clean and presentable for customers.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by manager.

Job Requirements:

• Bilingual – Spanish is a must
• Ability to speak effectively to customers and employees of the organization.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts as discounts.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form.
• Must have good phone and people skills.
• Proficient personal computer skills including e-mail, record keeping, routine data activity.
• Must prioritize tasks.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must be able to handle stressful situations in a professional manner.
• Must be able to remain friendly and professional while providing excellent customer service.

Tools/Equipment:

• Know how to use a computer.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
