Ritz Instrument Transformers, an industry leader in instrument transformers, cast-coil power transformers, and solid-insulated bus systems, has an opening for a Technical Sales Specialist reporting to the Inside Sales Manager.

SUMMARY

The Technical Sales Specialist (non-degree Engineer) will be the point of contact for customers and sales representatives offering application, pricing, and training support for Ritz products.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assist in meeting all sales and marketing objectives, including order rate and margin.

2. Assume ownership of a defined sales territory and provide timely and effective proposals and technical offers in response to customer's specifications. Also responsible for timely communication to questions within defined sales territory including leading coordination of response within department or other external departments.

3. Identify custom solutions for customer-specific applications.

4. Provide pre and post-sales technical support to utility and OEM customers.

5. Create promotional materials, including brochures, technical presentations, and literature.

6. Analyze competitive situations and provide pricing advice and feedback to management.

QUALIFICATIONS OR SKILLS REQUIRED

1. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

2. Fundamental understanding for product operations, product design, and product manufacturing techniques.

3. Fundamental understanding for industry based standards, including how standards influence design-quoting activities.

4. Engaged in on-going OTJ technical trainings, and or working toward applicable technical degree.

5. Specialist I range of 1-3 years OTJ experience, Specialist II range of 2+ years OTJ experience and demonstrated independence for responsibilities.

Sales Engineer position will report to Ritz USA location in Lavonia GA.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
