BakeMark has immediate job openings for Sales Representative!
With over 100 years of service to the baking industry, BakeMark is recognized as an industry leader and trusted partner for quality bakery ingredients, products, supplies and service. BakeMark is a manufacturer and distributor with 27 branches conveniently-located across the U.S.

Summary: Our Sales Representatives are the backbone of the company’s growth in all market channels. As such, it is the responsibility of the Sales Representative to grow sales of the company’s products and services utilizing the approach, strategies and tactics prescribed by the Company.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the sales growth in the territory and achieving established budgets.
• Travel throughout assigned territory to connect with regular and prospective customers.
• Identify and obtain orders for 100% of the supply needs of new and current customers.
• Develop budgets based on territory potential.
• Display and demonstrate products, using samples and product catalog.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• One-year of college/ technical school or two years of hands-on bakery experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Food and beverage sales experience a plus.
• Must be able to travel in a local territory approximately 90%-100% of the time.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to quickly build rapport with customers and suppliers.
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet.
• Must have, and maintain, a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
