Job Summary
Join a Locally Owned Forklift Propane Exchange, one of the fastest-growing propane companies! We go above and beyond to provide our customers with exceptional services. We are seeking an Outside Sales Representative that is goal-driven, and has a desire to provide service based on old-fashioned values, to help expand our commercial/industrial business
Responsibilities and Duties
- Very strong sales skills, techniques, and the ability to close a sale.
- Establish relationships with potential customers using various prospecting techniques. This position requires cold calling with some sales support.
- Add new business to the territory on a consistent basis. Travel throughout the area is required.
- Achieve individual account sales objectives.
- Meet with prospective clients and develop proposals to secure their business.
- Provide support to clients as needed.
- Complete daily logs and weekly reports in a timely manner.
Qualifications and Skills
- Prior sales experience in an industrial/commercial environment preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to present effective proposals.
- Computer skills are a plus.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management.
- A pre-employment drug screen and background check is required.
- Industry-related training will be provided but the chosen candidate must come with a high level of confidence, motivation, and the ability to seek new sales opportunities on a daily basis. Must be a self-starter and able to work with enthusiasm and minimal supervision.
