OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE Bronx, NY
Job Summary Description:
Crown Equipment Corporation, a Forbes 2019 Americas Best Large Employer, seeks an OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE to take over all account management responsibilities. The successful applicant will focus on acquiring additional revenue streams from existing clientele as well as bringing on new customers who can benefit from our product offerings. As OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE, you will be responsible for meeting monthly and quarterly quotas while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. You will report to Sales Manager and manage accounts in an assigned geographic region. Were looking for a sales-oriented professional who values productivity and customer engagement.
Job Responsibilities:
As an OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE covering the Bronx, youll be responsible for maximizing the sale of lift trucks, Crown Insite technology products, and warehouse equipment & supplies within a specified territory.
- Develop existing accounts and seek new business. Engage with customers via live contact within your assigned territory.
- Develop a territory management plan to maximize time with customers.
- Develop sales strategies, proposals, and forecasts. Develop and conduct product demonstrations and sales presentations. Prepare quotations and customer correspondence.
- Utilize online resources to maintain accurate records of sales calls, customer files, and sales activity information. Discuss sales activities with Sales Manager.
- Crown provides an in-depth training program designed to develop the sales and product skills necessary to be successful. Participate in ongoing training programs both locally and at the corporate headquarters.
Qualifications for an OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE:
- Bachelors degree, preferably in business management, marketing, professional selling, or successful sales experience
- Broad knowledge of the entire sales process
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Strong problem-solving capabilities, strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation, and ability to work in a team environment
- Microsoft Office experience
- Valid drivers license, good driving record, and the ability to safely operate lift trucks for product demos
- Commissioned business-to-business industrial sales experience preferred
