Inside Sales Representative

Our fast growing, family-owned hydraulic hammer business has an immediate opening for an experienced inside sales representative to help support our growing customer base. Our ideal candidate has at least 2 years of sales experience and is self-motivated, detail oriented, and customer focused. Must be highly organized, able to follow instructions, and able to work with customers and vendors alike. Experience with Quickbooks and Salesforce is a plus.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in a professional, courteous manner.
• Answer customer calls and respond to customer inquiries.
• Provide customer quotations and follow up on open quotes.
• Process and confirm new orders.
• Create purchase orders for outside purchased parts.
• Proactively review customer orders for any delivery delays.
• Contact vendors regarding the status of open purchase orders.
• Support existing sales staff as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Previous sales experience is preferred.
• Effective time-management skills.
• Capable of monitoring long term orders and customer requests.
• Ability to follow up and update customers with status of orders.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Office programs.
• Experience with Quickbooks and/or Salesforce is preferred.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
