Maine Properties is currently looking for a Commercial Business Development Manager to join our team. Maine Properties is an industry leader serving Southern Maine since 1981 in providing rental management, condominium management, maintenance, exterior and remodeling services. Tasks:

  • Maintain current client relationship and identifying areas for potential clients
  • Contacting potential clients to establish a business relationship and meet with them
  • Develop new sales areas and improving sales through various methods
  • Research the latest in the business industry and creating new opportunities to expand business
  • Collaborate with sales and design team to ensure requirements are met, such as sales numbers and profit goals
  • Assist the Property Manager with establishment of the Property Management Plan, Preventative Maintenance Policies and Procedure And Property Operations Manual.
  • Prepare, memos, email, maintain files, prepare expense reports and other administrative forms and copying
  • Assist in the production of monthly and annual reports.
  • Assist in preparation of transaction related documents.
  • Maintain contact and other databases for company.
  • Aid in the production of departmental reports (e.g. business plans, financial statements, RFPs).
  • Coordinate regular inventories of all business property.
  • Contractor coordination.
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments, on-site & off-site meetings and conference calls.
  • Collect and organize all property information in a format for quick reference.
  • Investigate cost reduction opportunities.
  • Assist corporate accounting with questions related to the property and resolution of vendor issues
  • Budget Preparation
  • Find & Implement Ways to Increase Revenue

  • Evaluate Current Business Relationships for profitability and fit

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or a similar area

Experience:

  • About five years of proven sales experience in business or a related area

Pay: $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
