Mercedes-Benz of Brooklyn is currently looking to hire a new class of Junior Sales Consultants to join our team. Not only is Automotive sales experience not required, it's preferred! We have developed an extensive training process that rewards hard working individuals with an opportunity to learn the business the right way.

Your first week at the dealership will begin with an overview of the systems and processes of the dealership. You'll learn the basics of the dealership and spend time with many of our vendors learning about each system you will use over the course of your career.

The second week involves shadowing in almost every department learning that your team members do daily.

Week three is daily sales training with a renowned automotive training specialist. They will show you what our competition is doing, how to handle objections and get the fundamentals for how to buy a car.

Once you've gone through this program you'll begin to handle Vehicle Purchase Leads. Your goal will be to buy cars from customers looking to sell. You'll learn skills like negoitiation trade in value, how to complete the necessary dealership paperwork, basic and complex DMV scenarios, basic loan structures and much more. THere are monthly bonuses for top performers in the class after 60 days as well.

Your success in this role will then allow you to work on lease retention, internet leads and eventually become a junior sales consultant where you work side by side with our experienced team of sales professionals. Top performing junior sales consultants typically graduate to a sales role in 10-18 months and earn north of $125,000 their first year.

Keep in mind that this is a business that requires hard work. You will work Saturdays. You will work Holidays. The end of the month is like Sunday for a football team, expect to be here far more than 40 hours. There will be plenty of failures and challengnes but if you push through you can have a great career.
