[please apply online] a Sales Application Engineer at Nol-Tec, you will work with the sales group to construct technically correct and accurately costed proposal packages. You will regularly interact with Nol-Tec personnel, outside vendors, and client/prospects as required to glean the required details for the design. You will work closely with internal and external technical resources. Employees at Nol-Tec are given dedicated office space on-site and have the flexibility to set up home offices. Stipend provided! Hybrid schedules are very flexible.

Job Requirements:

• Associate’s degree and less than 1 year of experience or two years of experience in mechanical or pneumatic conveying systems design.

• Experience in direct customer communication

• Knowledge of mechanical or pneumatic systems design.

• General understanding of pneumatic conveying system concepts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review specifications/data/details supplied to further develop system concept/design.

• Offer recommendations on system concept to the salesperson, along with detailing possible missing data/details required for technically correct design.

• Present sketch/drawing requirements to sales CADD personnel for drawing creation. Review and verify the accuracy of the concept drawing when complete.

• Outline the list of proposal deliverables required and follow the process, assuring all items required are ready for the presentation deadline.

• Prepare an accurately costed estimate for the proposal utilizing the Nol-Tec MRP database, and request pricing from Nol-Tec estimator or outside vendors as required.

• Communicate inaccuracies in costing found in MRP database to estimator and assist in updating estimating documentation for future use.

• Research and retrieve BOM and drawing information of existing client completed projects to determine accurate solution for client/prospect based on previous jobs.

• Participates in design criteria decisions based on customer information, knowledge of Nol-Tec equipment, and technical knowledge/experience.

• May participate in initial price decisions and price concession decisions.

• Verify that the proposal is technically correct with mechanical and electrical engineering departments as DOA tier level dictates.

• Communicate and document essential project information received from customers and Nol-Tec personnel to Sales Team.

• Update and maintain status of proposals in CRM system.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1.00 per hour
