Full description of the position

As a Stove Installer / Sales, you will provide professional in-home installation of fireplaces, inserts, and stoves. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

· Installing stoves and accessories according to VBS Heating installation standards, manufacturer's instructions, and local building codes.

· Working outside in varying weather conditions and temperatures.

· Maintaining company vehicles and tools.

· Following all OSHA and company safety standards and procedures.

· Maintaining a positive and professional image with home-builders and consumers.

· Keeping job sites clean and tidy before leaving.

· Maintaining working knowledge of all fireplaces, stoves, and related products along with any manufacturer's changes.

· Maintaining effective communication with sales staff (outside and inside) and field operations to ensure installation is completed and meets quality standards.

· Completing and returning all paperwork and photos on a daily basis.

· Training others on manufacturer's installation standards.

· Performing all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Experience working with hand and power tools.

· Mechanically inclined.

· Excellent customer service skills.

· Experience in construction, HVAC, or similar industry a plus.

· Ability to lift 75+ lbs.

· High School Diploma or equivalent.

· Comfortable being on a ladder and a roof.

· Must be 19 years of age or older.

· Must have a valid driver's license and meet our driving standards.

· Will be required to become certified by the National Fireplace Institute.

Pay: $19.00 - $28.00 per hour
