Job Summary:
This role will support and carry out the Global Supply Chain Business Analytics strategy in support of the organization’s reporting and data architecture needs. The successful candidate will demonstrate a solid understanding of our reporting tools and data sets while ensuring adherence to and compliance with the CooperVision data governance policies and guidelines.
Essential Functions & Accountabilities:
- Manage the development, production, and delivery of high-quality management information reports to support Operational reporting needs both internally and externally, including to customers.
- Understanding of data architecture related to data warehouses/lakes and how to design and optimize them.
- Understanding of data modeling particularly as it relates to the creation of visual representations of our data set to effectively relay information to our GSC audience.
- Respond in a timely fashion to requests for information from stakeholders ensuring appropriate accuracy and quality standards are upheld at all times.
- Take ownership of business needs and full understanding of the value to the organization of improved customer service
- Ensure all reporting responsibilities and processes are properly documented and all reporting materials produced are subject to appropriate controls prior to distribution.
- Reduce the reliance on spreadsheets by producing appropriate automated reporting solutions utilizing existing tools.
- Assist in the definition of business processes that ensure the consistency, uniformity, and accuracy of global data.
- Provide specialist knowledge and support to Operations leadership team and other business stakeholders.
- Investigate/analyze business activities and processes to make them more efficient.
- Use business analysis skills to help diagnose issues and consider the options and solutions required.
- Establish trust with project stakeholders demanding high service level standards.
- Be regarded as a management information reporting specialist.
- Assist in continuous improvement efforts.
- As business needs dictate, works extended hours to complete daily department goals or tasks to include mandatory overtime.
Travel Requirements:
International travel as required not to exceed 10%
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Extensive knowledge and experience: handling large datasets in Microsoft Excel; and with Tableau, Cognos, or similar tools that can be leveraged to architect and design reporting solutions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to perform root cause analysis.
- Overall knowledge of the business enterprise functions and processes.
- Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail
- Ability to develop and make recommendations and produce exceptional quality output.
- Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities, adapting to changing business demands.
- Highly adaptable, flexible, and willing to accept new ideas, processes and procedures.

Experience:
- Demonstrated experience of working with ERP systems such as Oracle EBS, Baan, SAP, etc. in a fast-paced manufacturing or retail environment
- Expert working knowledge of Excel, including working with macros, formulas, and VBA
- MS SQL Server skills with a sound understanding of ETL processes preferably with experience in Data Warehouse development.
- Must have strong Business Analyst skills with a minimum of 5 years of experience producing functional and technical specification documentation.
- Previous experience with IBM Cognos, Tableau Data Visualization and Report Writing, and with advanced planning systems and/or master data management systems are all a plus.
Education:
