We're looking for a savvy sales assistant to support our meat and seafood sales team in Atlantic Highlands office.

You’ll be working closely with our sales manager and his team to take care of their portfolio of foodservice and retail accounts throughout the tri-state area. In the sales assistant role you will eventually have an opportunity for promotions to salesperson where you could grow your career substantially.

Your main tasks:

• Take phone orders and call accounts for orders.
• Enter sales orders and purchase orders into our Netsuite ERP
• Assist with credit application processing and accounts receivables.
• Liaise with the marketing team.
• Manage and oversee trade show equipment and inventory.
• Other administrative duties to assist our sales manager.
• You will also be assigned some of your own accounts and receive regular guidance and training on our products, systems and sales skills.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is smart, personable and motivated to deliver top service to our customers
• Has strong technical skills
• Is interested in sales and is motivated to work hard and have a big impact
• Has some food experience in food service, retail or something related
• Understands some basics about ingredients, in particular meat and seafood.

We're offering $50,000 - $60,000 per year DOE, regular hours (9-5 M-F), health & dental benefits, paid time off and a challenging, rewarding work environment.
