PTE is an established structural design firm as well a post-tension and barrier cable manufacturing company that has been in business for over 44 years. We supply construction related materials to builders and developers from one of our two facilities in the US. Position available in Miami (preferred) and Nashville.

We are looking for a Sales Assistant to join our team. This position requires a focused, conscientious and detail-oriented individual that is self-motivated and with strong communication skills. This position has room for growth and possibility to promote into a sales and or marketing position. This is a full-time permanent placement benefit eligible opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Download drawings
• Update estimating schedules
• Prospecting and research
• Manage Bid Invites
• Follow up bids and identify bid status
• Update and maintain database
• Report leads and “hot” jobs to our sales team
• Establish relationship with our customers
• Learn and provide backup sales support
• Coordinate project information
• Provide growth support into other regions, expanding our footprint
• Administrative support
• Marketing assistance

Educational requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Preferentially, candidates must have an associate’s degree in management, business or related careers.

• Professional and proficient in verbal and written communication

• Active Listening
• Conflict management & resolution
• Good follow up skills
• Familiar with construction and post tension sales a plus
• Proficient in Excel
• Good Math skills
• Excellent computer Skills (Word, Outlook and Access)
• Self-motivated & shows initiative
• Friendly, Responsible and goal-oriented
• Bilingual (English / Spanish is a plus)
• Able to read construction documents.
• Customer Service Experience a plus
