Core Responsibilities
- Oversee management and technology consulting team executing projects with leading media companies, pay-TV operators and online publishers.
- Develop and own “Trusted Advisor” relationships with large size clients identifying, scoping and overseeing consulting projects to drive their business objectives specializing in new name sales.
- Own new business development by identifying, scoping and pitching project engagements.
- Oversee the work of managers, providing coaching and guidance to improve their performance and ensure they deliver against their responsibilities.
- Guide team on how to provide hands-on guidance, problem solving, and expertise to support clients connecting their business needs with an appropriate technical solution specializing in new technology and business trends.
- Carry out regular and robust monitoring of all team projects to ensure quality delivery of outputs and activities.
- Set performance metrics and operating agreement structure and evaluate performance.
- Contribute to the growth and develop of the team through trainings and guidance.
- Report on the outcomes and impact of partners and projects to internal executive teams.
- Maintain and develop working relationship with executive leaders of Sales, Engineering and Product teams to align on projects and recommendations that wrap around our core technology offerings.
- Contribute as a stakeholder for internal strategic projects and liaise with peer groups through planning and execution.
- Provide strong thought leadership and presence across large, premium clients Executive teams as well as industry committees.
- Conduct special studies for top management in areas such as the organization's operational effectiveness, product adoption and use cases and other ad hoc requests from senior management team.
- Keep abreast of new developments in consulting management methodologies, agile practices, best practices and industry standards.
- Work with other organizations to continuously improve business processes.
- Readily and decisively intervene and find resourceful ways to remove obstacles in order to move the work forward and get efforts back on track.
- Make business-impacting decisions on the ground-floor.
- Thought-leader and influencer of strategic plans, agreements and competitive response. Present strategic insights and implications (opportunities/threats) for Company in report summaries and in roundtable discussions with top management. Manage department priorities and serves as liaison to industry associations. Manage, develop and motivate team members to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
- Develop cross-functional plans, objectives and strategies. Interpret company and department goals into functional goals and strategies.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Who we are looking for:
- 14+ years of experience with a management consulting firm, media publisher, technology company, or media agency with client facing responsibilities
- Experience hiring, training, and coaching a team of at least 10 people
- Track record of developing and implementing new workflows and processes
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills and experience managing across and up
- Adept at handling multiple projects and adapting to evolving priorities.
- Experience developing research and thought leadership
- Foundation in technology with a strong understanding online video business, the TV and cable industry and the challenges facing both the industry, content owners and distributors.
- Keeps current with technological developments and video advertising industry news
- Strong Project/Program Management experience and organizational skills
- Has led large client project engagements delegating and overseeing work from project participants
- Ability to proactively manage yourself against a robust workload with multiple concurrent projects and tight deadlines, from engagement design through execution.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters
of significance. - Ability to maintain productivity during periods of extreme ambiguity and uncertainty, remaining calm and identifying the best course of action to continue to move forward and meet goals and deadlines.
- Know how to best interpret the metrics the business unit uses to evaluate and drive performance.
- Probe for honest, relevant, and specific feedback from customers and leverages it to continuously improve processes, products, and services.
- Regularly examines current state to identify opportunities and best practices that significantly increase efficiency and increase revenue.
- Consistently make timely decisions on issues requiring immediate attention, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.
- BA/BS degree required

Salary:
Pay Range: $230,472.60 - $345,708.91
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
