We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated BAS Solutions Engineer to join our team. As a BAS Solutions Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Account Management team by providing technical expertise in HVAC system and DDC Controls. Your primary responsibilities will include developing project scopes and budgets, coordinating technical specifications, participating in sales presentations, and assisting with Account Planning.

Responsibilities:

• Provide HVAC system and DDC Controls technical expertise to assist in the development of project scopes and budgets.
• Collaborate with the Account Management team to understand customer requirements and propose effective solutions.
• Assist in analyzing and evaluating technical requirements of projects.
• Coordinate technical specifications:
• Facilitate effective communication between engineers, estimators, customers, programmers, and installers to ensure seamless coordination of project deliverables.
• Review and interpret technical specifications, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Address any technical issues or concerns and provide guidance to resolve them.
• Participate in sales presentations:
• Work closely with the sales team to provide technical guidance during client meetings and sales presentations.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of HVAC systems and DDC Controls to effectively communicate the value and benefits of proposed solutions.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop compelling technical proposals and presentations.
• Assist with Account Planning:
• Collaborate with the Account Management team to develop strategic account plans.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling based on technical knowledge and understanding of customer needs.
• Provide insights and recommendations on product enhancements and new features based on customer feedback and market trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• At least five years of relevant experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and DDC Controls.
• Experience in developing project scopes and budgets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to understand and interpret technical specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address technical issues proactively.
• Proven ability to participate in sales presentations and provide technical guidance.
• Experience in Account Planning and strategic account management is a plus.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools related to building automation systems.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to perform extensive standing, driving, walking, and climbing; to lift up to 50lbs.
