Full description of the position

We are seeking a highly skilled, adaptable, and reliable sales associate to help take our company to the next level. In this position, you will be assuming an important role that drives sales on various sales channels and managing a storefront four days a week.

This job allows you the flexibility to have a four or five day work week, no weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information on product features
• Create quotes/orders online
• Communicate with customers via email, online platforms, and over the phone
• Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries
• Follow and achieve department’s sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
• “Go the extra mile” to drive sales to include sales over phone
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas
• Actively seek out customers in store
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
• Process POS (point of sale) purchases
• Cross sell products on various sales channels
• Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service
• Comply with inventory control procedures
• Conduct market research and identify new opportunities
• Suggest ways to improve sales (e.g. planning marketing activities, changing the store’s design)
• Manage Retail Sales at Storefront
• Assist with Digital Footprint platforms (Linktree, customer review sites, etc.)

Skills (required)

• Excellent computer skills
• Strong work ethic and strong initiative
• Must be reliable and counted on to adhere to scheduled work days
• Must be independent and self-driven
• Proven work experience as a Sales Representative or Sales Associate
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills

Enhancing Skills (not required)

• Familiar with military life
• Familiar with the Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
