Aquatech Dewatering is well recognized as a leader in the supply of specialized equipment and services catering to Construction Dewatering, Sewer Bypass Pumping, Surface Water Management, Discharge Filtration and Industrial Fluid Transfer. We are significantly expanding in the Tampa area and are looking for an Outside Sales Representative (Dewatering Solutions Specialist) to professionally represent our pumping equipment and system rentals, sales and related turnkey contract services.

The Outside Sales Representative establishes new and maintains existing relationships with all customers in the area or sector assigned, and will be a member of a team that utilizes technical, organizational, and communication skills to promote the overall growth and profitability of AQUATECH’s fleet of pumping, dewatering, and environmental equipment.

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in product specific training to better represent Aquatech’s specialized products and service offerings
• Develop growth in South Florida from our Ft Myers Branch for Aquatech's Dewatering and Bypass Pumping equipment and services offerings
• Independently source and quote opportunities for Dewatering and Bypass Pumping system rentals, sales and turnkey contracts
• Visit on a regular basis, existing customers as well as new project sites.
• Evaluate, recommend and provide proposals/quotes for dewatering and pumping systems to suit the customer’s needs.
• Coordinate with operations staff for equipment availability, delivery and returns
• Coordinate and oversee dispatched Field Operations Technicians to deliver, install, operate and remove pumping systems for customers.
• Provide prompt professional support and strong customer service for our customers

• Maintain and be available for open communications with customers for after-hours emergency responses
• Evenings, weekends (on-call) and travel within defined territory is a component of this position
• Maintain accurate customer records, including all sales opportunities through CRM (Salesforce)
• Collaborate with Sales Team to create successful sales and marketing plan.
• Act in accordance with Aquatech’s Health and Safety and Environmental Management systems.
• Achieve annual sales targets through the sale and rental of Aquatech's equipment and field services.

Qualifications and Required Experience

• Preferably 3 to 5 years’ experience in rental/sales of pumps and pumping systems
• Technical understanding of diesel and electric centrifugal pumps, discharge water filtration and treatment used in construction applications
• Experience managing key accounts and establishing new customer accounts
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in mechanical or civil engineering, or related experience an asset.
• Very strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service and negotiating skills.
• Strong organizational, computer and time management skills.
• Knowledge with Salesforce and/or other rental management programs an asset.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently and on a daily basis.
• Uninhibited ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, push, pull, reach and grasp.
• Sporadic exposure to outdoor weather, shop and job site conditions.
• Forklift Certification an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
