Full description of the position

We are looking for a Jewelry Sales Associate to provide excellent customer service and meet sales quotas for our business. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the store’s profitability.

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Provide excellent customer service to all clients through knowledge and experience on all our products and services
• Build and maintain cliental by providing excellent interpersonal skills and trust
• Execute sales by understanding a customer's needs and by providing value awareness
• Place and follow up on all customer orders
• Handle customer complaints by providing appropriate solutions and alternatives
• Respond to customer queries in a timely and effective manner, via phone, email and social media
• Assist with set up and breakdown of all Jewelry Displays

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• 1-2 years of experience in a retail environment, Fine Jewelry preferred
• Strong work ethic, be able to work in a high pace work environment
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service and support to clients
• Excellent interpersonal and listening skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Eagerness to learn and grow knowledge on our products and services
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Flexible team player, ability to multi - task
• Ability to maintain the highest level of integrity, trust and confidentiality
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Punctuality, regular attendance is essential to this position to ensure adequate coverage to meet company objectives

EDUCATION

High School or equivalent preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
