How you will make an impact:
The Manager Medicare Broker is responsible for managing a team with accountability for partnering with Brokers/Consultants on individual sales, Medicare Supplement, Medicare Advantage, and Prescription Drug Plan (PDP) within an assigned territory. Focus is working with specific brokers and agencies to promote Medicare plans and maximize the number of Commercial members transitioning to the company's Medicare plans. Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
- Leads a team that sells Medicare plans to agents and agencies, and additionally partners with Brokers/Consultants to register Accounts for the Move to Medicare (M2M) program to drive education and engagement of retirees and soon to be retirees to drive shopping and buying of Medicare products.
- Manages, leads and trains teams to prioritize selling Medicare in their product portfolio.
- Works with Marketing to ensure materials and presentations deliver on needs, including Medicare 101 education through to agents/agencies and Account and Member components. Ensures Brokers/Consultants are trained and prepared to identify and offer Medicare products.
- Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
Minimum Requirements : Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 6 years of experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Qualifications, Skills & Experiences: MS preferred.
