We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our growing Business Development and Sales team. This individual would have experience with new program development, account growth, managing multiple large-scale accounts, strategic account planning, and new product implementation. Strong candidates will bring a background in metal fabrication and/or experience with medical product manufacturing.

Purpose
Responsibilities
- Meet assigned profitable sales volume and strategic objectives for assigned accounts
- Manage customer terms targeting the company standards
- Monitor and manages the Customer Scorecard, including the tracking of on-time delivery and quality expectations
- Establish productive & professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts
- Maintain account information in the company ERP & CRM system
- Manage the quoting process to include solicitation of RFQs, setting up quotes in company ERP system, reviewing finished quotes to validate profitability within the company standards, and submitting information to the customer within the required timeframe.
- Follow-up with customers and close opportunities, bringing disposition to all outstanding quotes
- Complete customer communications information in CRM and/or in the sales funnel
- Coordinate the involvement of company personnel - including support services and management resources - in order to meet account performance objectives and achieve customer performance expectations.
- Travel as required, including overnight stays
Accountabilities and Performance Measurements
- Achieves assigned sales quotas in assigned accounts and strategic markets
- Achieves assigned expectations for profitable revenue generation
- Meets assigned account/market objectives defined by company management
- Establish and meet account specific growth plan
- Establish and meet market specific growth plan
- Proper use of company CRM & Quoting modules with ERP system
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years previous sales experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to interpret sales metrics and forecasts
- Ability to lead other sales employees
- Associates or Bachelor degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Excellent communications skills
