Leading Construction Supply Company seeks an experienced Outside Sales Representative for our Lake Charles area market. We need a sales rep with a solid background in outside sales in a construction or industrial related industry.

Position Overview

As our Outside Sales Representative, you are responsible for prospecting and selling our construction related products to residential contractors in the Lake Charles area. This is a well-established territory in our branch and we need someone who can manage a large base of existing accounts while growing new business.

Position Key Responsibilities

· Independently develop leads through cold calling, appointment setting, networking and the like

· Service existing accounts

· Prepare quotes and create written proposals and reports

· Optimize sales growth through daily activities of identifying opportunities and performing efficient follow-up

Position Salary and Compensation

· Base Salary of $40-50K

· Aggressive Commission Plan

· $500 Month Car Allowance

· $100 Month Cell Phone Allowance

· Fuel Allowance

Position Requirements

· High School Diploma or equivalent required but prefer Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or at least some college

· Must have at least 2 years of outside sales experience in construction sales or a related industry with a proven track record of success in cold calling and closing new accounts

· Must have the ability to identify and close new customer accounts

· Thrive in a fast paced, results oriented, goal driven environment

· Good time management and communication skills

· Self-motivated and competitive
