Why SoBo:

At Southern Botanical, we know work isn’t life – it’s just part of it. We pay our people well, give them interesting problems to solve, and pair them with mentors and trainers to make sure they are supported as they drive results. We trust our team to manage their personal and professional time with big picture goals in mind. That means when life stuff comes up – like your kid’s music recital at 9am on a Wednesday – you better not miss it. As a company, we set ambitious goals and have fun achieving them together. We don’t have crazy benefits programs or fancy perks. Instead, we focus on the things that count, like sharing our profits, helping people provide for their family and quickly advance their careers. We hire people who want to be the best and we feel like we’ve won the lottery when they continue to choose to work here year after year. Oh, yeah – by the way – we’re a landscaping company, but who you are matters more to us than what industry you’re currently in. Some of our most transformative leaders have brought fresh insights from outside of the green industry, and we like it that way.
