Full description of the position

Manage commercial activities for one or more customer accounts including relationship development and day-to-day sales activities to meet and exceed annual sales budget Responsible for the implementation of action plans to achieve goals and objectives for long-term growth of company sales and profitability.

Essential Functions:
  • Develops annual fiscal budget/ forecast for assigned customer account(s).
  • Utilizes Salesforce to track, monitor and report on the status of customer programs and sales opportunities.
  • Continuously analyzes the market to determine and report on customer and competitor market share data.
  • Responsible for leading all quotation activities (RFQ) including the accuracy and timeliness of customer response.
  • Coordinates dally sales activities with Sales Administrator.
  • Develops, updates, maintains & makes customer-specific sales presentations.
  • Acts as a conduit of customer communication to other Internal departments (purchasing, quality, engineering, etc)
  • Identifies ways to improve product margins and increase company profits.
  • Monitors and communicates the level of customer satisfaction to senior management
  • Processes sales contracts, prototype pricing & shipments, service contracts and other typical sales-related activities.
Secondary Functions:
  • Makes recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of sales processes & procedures.
  • Promotes positive associate relations and work environment.
  • Performs other duties as required.
Specialized Training, Skills, Abilities, Experience:
  • 4-year degree in business administration, marketing, engineering or equivalent
  • MBA or MS degree preferred.
  • Minimum 8-12 year previous sales account management experience with an automotive background.
  • Computer skills, preferably with above average proficiency of MS office applications.
  • Experience with other sales-related software appllcati alesforce, BMN) is preferred.

  • Daily work exposure to electronic devi uch as computers/ monitors, laptops and mobile phones.
  • Periodic manufacturing facility vis -n ise from manufacturing equipment
  • Periodic travel via road driviyr18air travel to other company operations, customers and/or suppliers.
