Sales Coordinator
Our sales Coordinator
will be responsible for assisting in managing the operation of the entire sales
department in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner. Managing and
providing all guests with quality service prior to and throughout their stay.
In this position you will assist the Sales Director in managing and coordinating guest
communication, managing group sales, managing group bookings in system (
receipt of contracts/credit card authorization forms/contracts ETC…)
Coordinating the Sales department and to communicate relevant information and direction to
all departments. Give full support to all departments and assist in performing
the general and specific duties of the Sales Director in his/her absence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in Managing all daily reports
- Assist in Managing and corresponding with all V.I.P sales and accounts along with Reservations Manager and Hotel Manager
- Assist in Managing all group sales and accounts
- Assist in Managing all corporate sales and accounts
- Assist in Managing all travel agent relationships
- Assist in Managing all property tours
- Assist in Managing events rooms sales
- Assist with Group input in to SMS
- Filing Group Folders in order of month and date
- Tracking Group billing/Contract/Payment
- Printing reports as needed
- Upload Group rooming list as needed.
- Pull daily and weekly reports such as daily arrivals, activity reports along with Reservations Manager
- Maintaining and tracking Client database along with Reservations Manager
- Assisting in site inspections along with Hotel
- Assist in Responding to leads with written proposals (In the
- Preparing schedules for client site visits.
- Maintaining the office calendar of events along with
- Actively ensuring a cohesive and efficient group Sales workflow.
- Assist in Managing all sales calendars.
- Monitor and assist in Identifying revenue problems and opportunities with sufficient lead time to positively impact revenues.
- Assist in finding new ways to effectively generate revenue and encourage rev par growth.
- Assist in monitoring and updating G.D.S and O.T. A’s hotel descriptions.
- Take ownership of Sales Manager/Director responsibilities in their absence.
- Must follow SHINOLA Sales SOP’s/SHINOLA Branding in all
communications via Smartphone, telephone etiquette as well as rate and price
correspondence.
- Must adhere to SHINOLA grooming policies as per the Shinola
- Respond and represent sales manager(s) when out of the office.
- Communicate to both, guests and fellow associates, professionally
Revenue Management
- Assist in managing all revenue management reports
- Assist in managing all daily/monthly/quarterly/ revenue reports
