Job Title: Account Manager

Position Reports to: Asian Sales Manager
Position is: Full-time, Salaried, Exempt
Job Description: The Account Manager is responsible for building and growing a strategic working relationship with existing customers to help achieve sales and profit targets in the Midwest Region. The account manager will act as a dedicated business consultant to offer the best value proposition for the customer.
Responsibilities:
- As an Account Manager, you will develop and implement strategies for increasing sales and profit targets.
- Coordinate the needs of assigned accounts.
- Identify opportunities for assigned accounts, and communicate and those opportunities to the appropriate personnel.
- Develop key relationships with assigned accounts.
- Understand customer organizations by department, function, strategies, and key programs
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Direct work experience in food industry (Asian food sales), retail industry and or inventory-based products.
- Possess strong listening skills, an ability to hear what a potential customer wants, concerns and issues and ability to problem solve.
- Possess excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills, and attention to detail.
- Demonstrate ability to build and maintain strategic customer relationships, handle multiple priorities, and work in a self-direct manner.
- Bilingual (Korean & English) required.
- Candidates in Chicago, IL preferred but not required.
Travel/Physical Demands:
- Work conducted within an office environment.
- Travel typically is about 85% - 90%.
- Job demands will require driving, traveling by air, standing, telephone work, or computer work.
* Additional incentive and bonus depending on individual sales performance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $71,470.00 per year
