SUMMARY OF POSITION

CHCU has an immediate opening for a Manager, U.S. Product Development, where the qualified candidate will work alongside the Japan-based Product Manager to ensure end-to-end product development and marketing process includes US KOL and market requirements. This candidate will work initially on Product Management for Photon Counting CT (PCCT), contributing to product strategy development and upstream marketing plans, including development of key KOL relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Upstream Marketing Roles

o Engage US-based experts to collect market insights on customer needs, competitive dynamics, market trends

o Refine product value proposition for Canon’s PCCT product based on insight

o Build upstream marketing strategy for PCCT product

• Leading Product Management Capability

o Collaborate with HQ PM to develop the global KOL engagement strategy

o Identify, contact and contract target KOLs for PCCT project

o Orchestrate KOL engagement to establish long-term relationships

o Lead US-based KOL support team

o Consolidate and communicate CHCU product team members inputs with HQ-based PM and BU team management

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• B.S. (M.S. or Ph.D. preferred) in medical imaging, health sciences or related field, plus 7 years of relevant healthcare industry experience.

Required Capabilities

• In-depth knowledge and experience in CT and the broader medical imaging environment with a strong understanding of engineering and core technology used in PCCT
• Demonstrated track record in taking products from inception to delivery.
• Ability to build the product value proposition and marketing strategy
• Define and communicate customer and market-based requirements into product development
• Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products and solutions
• Ability to interact with medical professionals directly representing Canon
• Drive collaboration with cross functional and cross-cultural teams.
• Experience in leadership and change management.

Work Location

• Position based in Mayfield Village/Cleveland Ohio.

Travel

• Ability to complete domestic and international travel is required.
