The Retail Sales Associate delivers world-class customer service to all retail customers by receiving and processing packages for courier shipment and operating copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminating machines, and point-of-sale devices. The Associate expertly advises our valued customers by providing accurate information on our array of products, services, and best-value options and exhibits confidence by knowing best practices related to the industry.

The ideal candidate has previous retail sales experience, strong computer and internet skills, a friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor, and a professional appearance. He or she must be a fast learner and be able to lift 50 lbs-75 lbs must also makes an effort to learn all aspects of the business in the shortest possible time. A The UPS Store Sales Associate typically has a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing assistance with product selection and services
• Provide accurate pricing information for products and services, including shipping costs
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all transactions are completed correctly
• Assist customers with packing and shipping items, including fragile or oversized items
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices
• Answer customer inquiries about products and services, as well as provide general information about The UPS Store
• Ensure store shelves are stocked and organized, and assist with inventory management
• Operate cash registers, credit card machines, and other related equipment
• Follow established safety procedures when handling packages and materials
• Keep the store clean and orderly, including dusting, vacuuming, and mopping
• Assist with opening and closing duties, such as setting up displays and counting money
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed on new products and services

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
