United Aluminum Corporation, a specialty rolling mill in North Haven, CT, with unique rolling, annealing, and slitting capabilities, has produced Custom Rolled® Aluminum Coil since 1915. United Aluminum’s modern and clean facility is conveniently located off I-91 or the Merritt Parkway in North Haven, CT.
We have an exceptional opportunity for a Territory Sales Manager to join our professional and respected Outside Sales team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years prior territory sales experience in either an industrial manufacturing setting or in the metals industry. This person would also have excellent communication skills, inviting personality, a positive attitude, and the ability to travel domestically and internationally.
The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for the sales of aluminum coil to our industrial customers who manufacture a wide range of products sold for a diverse list of markets such as industrial, automotive, electrical and consumer goods.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, manage, and maintain customer relationships with all customers in a defined geographical territory.
- Travel as required to call on customers and prospects. Currently, all travel is subject to strict adherence to CDC recommended protocols due to COVID-19.
- Communicate customers’ needs back to the company.
- In conjunction with the Sales Manager, develop performance objectives, goals, and sales forecasts.
- Treat all stakeholders with dignity, respect, and courtesy.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
- Eager to provide professional assistance to our customers.
- A positive attitude and enjoys selling.
- Analytical and problem solving skills.
- Organized with good time management skills.
- Experience and success in outside sales, developing and executing territory sales strategies, a strong plus.
- Previous metals industry sales experience a plus.
- Must be self-motivated, able to work independently and to work as a key member of a multi-departmental team.
