What will you do? The IoT Pre-Sales Engineer is responsible for managing the requirements gathering, technology selection and solution design with KOREs’ customers and help customers adopt KORE advanced technology solutions.
Responsabilities:
- Gather customer requirements based on their IoT / mobility environment, technical, and operational needs.
- Design IoT Deployment and Lifecycle solutions using all of KOREs’ available products & and professional services portfolio.
- Facilitate discovery and design meetings with customers and KORE participant teams.
- Create solution proposals that meets customer’s stated goals, complete peer review, and validate with Sales.
- Present solution proposals to customers in collaboration with Sales.
- Maintain a high level of expertise in IoT and Mobility related technologies, and industry trends. Actively contribute to KORE’s knowledge management systems.
- Lead technical engagement with vendors for products and support issues.
- Qualify and test new products and technologies.
- Work closely across multiple KORE organizations including Product, Marketing, Professional Services, Network, and IT to optimize solutions and increase customer value.
Education and Experience Requested:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or an applicable technical discipline; or business experience equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in sales support (or other functional role that involves technical understanding and interfacing with sales and customers.
- Understanding and experience with IP Networks, both IPv4 and IPv6 as well as VPN technology.
- Cellular technology – including LTE, 5G, NB-IoT, Cat-M1 Network
- Experience with SIM technology including GSMA eUICC Standards including SGP 0.02, SGP 0.22 and SGP 0.32
- Experience within at least one of the following areas: IoT, Mobile Device Management, Cloud (AWS, GCP or Azure), Cellular Hardware (Telematics, Routers, Tablets/Phones).
- Experience with mobility platforms and devices, middleware, device management and related enterprise mobility management technologies.
- Experience with network technologies (NFC / PAN / WAN), satellite, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ZigBee, low power (LPWAN) and LoRa.
- IoT Platform / Security / Network / Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) certifications.
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning and Workflow Management System
Skills Desired:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Software Development and scripting (python, .NET, java, etc)
Work authorization:
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
Travel:
- Ability to travel, as needed, up to 25%
