- Pay Range: $75,000- $95,000
OBJECTIVE
The primary role of the Account Executive is to increase market share of existing client base to maximize yield as well as expanding their sales portfolio through the solicitation and capture of new accounts. The incumbent sells the full menu of logistics from all divisions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:
Maximize and manage the volume, revenue, and margin within the defined sales territory and / or customer base in order to deliver sales results.
- Constantly communicate with customers through personal visits, phone calls and emails to discuss opportunities, concerns or corrective actions required. Ensure customer profiles are up to date in company customer relationship management (CRM) software applications.
- Anticipate customer requirements and meet those needs in a professional and proactive manner. Provide customer service that exceeds expectations.
- Cultivate strong personal relationships with a broad base of management and staff in support of customer / account objectives.
- Effectively communicate internally to ensure that customer needs are met or exceeded in a timely fashion.
- Develop, implement, and deliver on the pre-determined sales plan.
- Manage any conflicts and issues. Drive the company to quickly resolve problems and develop action plans to prevent recurrence.
- Use the appropriate resources to nurture relationships and deliver business results.
Identify new business opportunities that exist within the customer / territory base.
- Contact, establish, cultivate, and develop existing accounts in the assigned area.
- Identify new selling opportunities. Rethink and develop new features to provide benefits for the customer.
- Determine, evaluate, and report special trends in the customer / territory base.
Provide management with appropriate forecast of results and opportunities.
- Understand Radiant’ corporate vision and long-term strategic goals. Provide input to senior management on the development of these goals such as volume, margin, and revenue growth through the CRM (Customer Relation Management) tool.
- Provide input to the annual budget.
- Other duties and assignments as required.
QUALIFICATIONS: KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma.
- Bachelor / Associate degree in Business, Logistics or International Trade or related discipline is an asset.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in forwarding sales with a proven track record of success.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word
- PowerPoint is an asset.
- Experience with CRM applications is an asset I.e., Salesforce
- Dedicated commitment to providing superior, timely internal and external customer service.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in verbal and written form.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills (in a team environment).
- Proven success generating/qualifying leads through prospecting new business with a ‘determined’ mentality.
- High energy, with a passion for your personal brand and the ability to carry yourself like an executive.
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task.

- Must have a valid driver’s license.
Work Schedule
- Set working hours of 8 hours per day with requisite meal and rest breaks.
- Consistently report to work on time, prepared to perform required duties.
- Ensure work responsibilities are covered when absent.
- Work Environment:
- Usually moderate noise level.
- Climate controlled office environment.
Physical Demands:- Regular physical demands: Walk; sit; use hands to handle or feel; use fingers for keyboarding; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
- Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, ability to adjust focus.
Mathematical Skills:- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Language Skills:- Ability to read and interpret documents, spreadsheets, emails and instructions.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak clearly and effectively to both internal and external contacts.

Other compensation includes commissions.
