The Rental Consultant serves as the main point of contact for customers such as students, professionals, families, athletes, real estate agents, or home stagers who are relocating or have temporary furniture needs. This role utilizes customer service, administrative, and sales skills to consult with customers and enter orders.
This is a full-time, onsite position, performed from the CORT office.
Pay: $25 / hour. CORT is offering generous Retention Bonus plans up to $2,500!

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9AM - 6PM

- Consult with customers primarily via phone and email, and occasionally in-person to determine their budget, style preferences, timeline, and overall rental needs and then match them with CORT’s products and services
- Utilize computer programs to prepare proposals or designs, furniture lease agreements, schedule deliveries, and complete sales
- Work with operations, administration, and customers to ensure an exceptional customer experience
- Utilize professional sales skills to meet and exceed revenue goals
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to encourage repeat business or additional revenue opportunities
- Consulting, customer service, and/or sales experience (inside or outside)
- Proficient computer skills
- Multitask well and are adaptable to change in a fast-paced role
- Have experience engaging successfully with many types of clients
- Prior experience in multi-housing, retail, hospitality, home staging, or furniture sales (not required, but a plus)
