Carlson Distributing is the largest beer distributor and the largest import/specialty beer distributor in the state of Utah. We serve over 3,000 retail customers throughout Utah and are looking to recruit a career-minded person to join our team in a Sales Associate position serving downtown Salt Lake City and Park City. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our sales team in bars and restaurants throughout this geographical area, and learning the business from the ground up with the expectation of career advancement in the future.

Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for selling and assisting in selling alcoholic beverages to restaurants and bars
• Engage in the reset process
• Support an entire sales team in everyday activities
• Help with events and sponsorships during key selling periods
• Build displays (as needed), restock coolers and rotate product to ensure first in first out policy
• Build relationships with our customer base by being service oriented, knowledgeable and professional
• Restock product in an aligned manner with labels facing outward for purchase and consumption.
• Build displays and other promotional items throughout the assigned restaurants and bars by moving, stacking and building items according to instruction and schedule made by supervisor and bar or restaurant general management
• Rotate product to ensure that stores follow a first in first out stocking system by removing and organizing product on shelves at the end of each location visit
• Set aside and store in backroom any product unfit for sale to be credited to customer account

Qualifications: Effective communication skills and customer service focused

• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Dedicated and self-motivated with a passion to win and be successful
• College degree preferred (but not mandatory)
• Must have a valid Driver License with a clean driving record
• Must be able to loft/lower 35 lbs. regularly and up to 150 lbs. occasionally

Pay: $49,000.00 - $51,000.00 per year
