Position Overview:
The Key Account Representative is responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships with various customer contacts, promoting company products and services, and growing current customer business. This position serves as the key point of contact between the customer and multiple internal department contacts within the organization. This position uses knowledge of company brands, systems, products and services to improve customer exhaustion.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBITLIES include the following and all other duties assigned:
- Prepare medium to long-range sales plans to protect, grow, and diversify the relationship with a defined group of existing customers.
- Develop and implement a strategic customer growth roadmap/plan with the focus on implementing new business awards and building customer dependences.
- Manage assigned customer accounts, and build rapport with key customer
- Assertively pursue additional sales opportunities and proactively drive opportunities to successful
- Engage client contacts to initiate contract renewal process, and ensure contracts are renewed on
- Monitor competitive activity in each account and ensure appropriate response strategies are formulated and
- Work to resolve issues swiftly and ensure customers receive high quality customer
- Continuously monitor customer environment for additional quoting opportunities, and respond quickly to additional opportunities.
- Monitor customer profitability by maintaining and/or improving customer margin through coordinated activity with Sales Operations and other departments (obtaining customer approval on substitutes/alternatives, getting necessary price increases implemented, etc.)
- Maintain accurate information for sales pipeline, prospects, customer information and communication logs within the CRM system.
- Assist in the management of all elements of contractual obligations, including but not limited to excess & obsolete inventory, value added/value engineered, pricing reviews, inventory reductions, and expense
- Own relationships with mid-level clients (i.e. Purchasing Manager) and foster relationships with senior clients (i.e. Purchasing Director, C-Suite, etc.).
- Support customer implementations and continuous improvement initiatives, and participate in trade shows and industry conferences.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- S. Degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field, and/or equivalent experience.
- Previous industrial sales experience and/or knowledge of related products and/or industry, a
- Valid Driver’s license and approved driving
- Experience with project management and/or new customer onboarding, a plus.
- High standard of professionalism and
- Preferred style of teamwork, collaboration, and humility
- Ability to analyze complex business situations and develop creative business focused
- Self-starter, self -motivated, and ability to manage and drive own
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, blueprint or schedule
- Ability to translate and convey technical requirements for products and
- Strong listening and interpersonal skills, and formidable negotiating
- Effective communicator, both verbally and with written
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and Refined persuasion and related sales and presentation skills.

- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and execute in a high-pressure
- Comfort with and efficient in data analysis, graphs, statistics, percentages and
- Travel estimated up to 90%.
