Sales Account Manager – Special Steel in the automotive, construction machinery & industrial machinery industries.

Our client is an international company which has been importing and exporting special steel in the automotive, construction machinery and industrial machinery industries around the globe for many decades.

The products that a hiring company is selling are special steel, and the processed special steel, such as cold finished steel bars, and hot/cold forged products.

We are currently looking for an outside sales rep for our client in Novi, Michigan. For this B2B sales job, you will be travelling a few times a month or around 20% of the time.

The Novi office is rather small in size, so an ideal candidate would be someone who is a team player and can work flexibly with other people across different divisions in the company. A hiring company is looking for a sales rep who is interested in growing the company's business together as a team in the future.

Some of the minimum qualification requirements:

• 1+ years of work experience.
• Able to travel a few times a month or around 20% of the time as a sales rep for business.
• A few years of work experience in the automotive, steel, construction machinery or industrial machinery sector preferred.
• Able to use MS Excel and Poweropint.
• A valid US driver's license and a car. (Note: There is no public transportation near the facilities.)
• An AA degree or a vocational school certificate in the related field.
• Authorized to work in the US permanently without a visa sponsorship.
• If you are familiar with the Japanese business culture or language, that's helpful.
• Able to start in 2 weeks if you receive a job offer.

Some of the main responsibilities:

• Sell special steel in the automotive, construction machinery and industrial machinery industries in the US.
• Maintain great business relationships with the existing customers.
• Develop new accounts with prospective customers in the automotive, steel, construction machinery or industrial machinery industries in the US.
• Provide quote to customers and negotiate with customers.
• Create presentation materials and give presentations to clients.
• Visit customers.
• Work on the multiple projects with a direction of the office head.
• Other tasks will be assigned by the office head as necessary.

Job location: Novi, MI

Compensation: $60,000/yr

FLSA: Exempt
