Do you get excited about owning relationships with Highly Recognized National clients and helping them make their visions come to life? Parkway Construction, a top 400 ENR firm with over 40 years in the construction industry has an immediate need for a Business Development Associate.

Our ideal Candidate:

• Capable of developing a strategic plan to penetrate and grow a book of business
• 5+ years of networking / relationships in the construction industry (preferred)
• Knowledge of Commercial Market Segments/Sub-Segments/Project Type (Retail, Restaurant, Hotel, Healthcare - Ambulatory Services, etc.)
• Successful track record of accessing how customer organizations are structured and positioning accordingly
• Capable of producing inorganic prospects and properly pursuing opportunities
• Ability to determine what the customer values and deliver value propositions that differentiate
• Diligent at debriefing win/loss with customers and internal operations
• Deep experience of presenting RFQ/RFP in interview settings with customers
• Understands a service-based sales cycle (extended cycle)
• Coordinates well across business functions with preconstruction and operations
• Ability to write/coordinate RFP/RFQs and prepare for interviews
• Ability travel nationally 25 -40% of the time.
• Works well on teams
• 4 year degree in Business Administration, Construction Management or equivalent experience
• Presentation skills that represent the company's core values.

This position is Based out of our corporate office in Lewisville TX but candidate must be able to travel

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $68,452.74 - $84,351.68 per year
