Job Purpose:

This position is responsible to the Chief Sales Officer for the direction, coordination, and overall management of professional service sales. The Director is responsible for building and maintaining a team of sales executives with initiatives designed to increase sales of software and professional services at Lone Star Communications.

Duties and Responsibilities

Sales Team Leadership

• Develop and execute a sales strategy that drives revenue growth and achieves sales targets.
• Lead and manage the sales team, including setting sales targets, providing coaching, and training, and conducting performance evaluations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, including conducting sales calls and presentations.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment on messaging and product positioning.
• Manage the sales pipeline and forecast revenue for the business.
• Monitor and analyze sales metrics to measure the effectiveness of sales programs and make recommendations for improvement.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in sales.

Collaboration

• • Coordinate with Regional Sales Directors on local goals and initiatives.
  • Ensure LSC overall sales initiatives are coordinated with P.S. Sales.
• Follow all company processes and procedures in accordance with the LSC Quality Management system to ensure that a quality product is maintained and delivered within the predetermined time and cost.
• Attend required internal company meetings such as safety, departmental, scheduled daily and weekly meetings.
• All employees are required to actively participate in the LSC Safety Program.
• Be the forerunner in assuring customer satisfaction by meeting customer’s expectations while containing scope and cost creep.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree, and/or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to operate computers and understand Windows operating environment.
  • Must be proficient with Windows, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Word.
• A minimum of five years of successful experience in sales leadership, or sales support, and a demonstrated knowledge of best practices, methodologies, and technologies in each of these areas along with familiarity of governmental regulations and complex organizational structures.
