Sales Professional

Your Key Responsibilities
Ensures on time quote generation, submission, presentation and follow up
Responsibility for the acquisition of new business
Contributes to budget planning process, and plans revenues for the assigned customers
Develops and maintains customer relationships in order to materialize business opportunities
Consults with clients on available product assortment, its potential applications and possible variances to best meet customer requirements
Prepares and conducts negotiations (in terms of applicable product assortment, quantities, pricing, other commercial conditions) and closes the contract
Collects, evaluates and reports information about market trends, technologies, customers and competitors offering
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or economics discipline
- 1 - 2 years’ experience in related field
- Knowledge of the automotive industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Great negotiation skills
- Solid foundations in business processes, in particular costings
- Experience of technical products
- Experience in working in a multi-national team
- Excellent communication ability (written & verbal)
- Extremely self-motivated & driven to achieve results
- Continuous improvement approach
- Assertive approach to solving problems
- Ability to prioritize, make decisions and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in an engineering or economics discipline
- Proficient in SAP
- 5 years’ experience in related field

Sales Professionals focuses on business opportunities within the Automotive Bearing market. They need to provide technical knowledge to explain products, its variances and applications, but do not need to design technical solutions. The Sales Professional is responsible for obtaining maximum OE sales and profit. The Sales Professional will handle assigned commercial activities including but not limited to the quoting process and quote reviews at the customer. This includes coordinating design, costing, financial analysis, cost bridging to other projects, Executive review/communication, ensuring approvals are granted as per signature guidelines, and on time quote creation.
