We are increasing staff here at Insurance Service of Sarasota and are looking for a motivated professional with a 2-20 or 4-40 license to join our Sales Agent Team!

Job Duties:

Quote, underwrite, present, and sell personal lines products to new and existing clients

Lines of business include home, flood, auto, boat, motorcycle, umbrella, personal liability, and renters insurance

This position is strictly sales with minimal service requirements

Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service to all

Build relationships with clients and companies to increase retention

Use experience, discretion and independent judgement to conceptualize and implement solutions to meet client needs

Determine all impacts/needs associated with the new business request, including impacts to other coverages or policies

Maintain a suspense system and follow up on all outstanding correspondence including payments

Document all contacts, maintain customer records and files in a professional manner, and update customer information as appropriate for accuracy

Abide by agency procedures and E&O guidelines

Perform service activities to support their team and their manager or others, consistent with the responsibilities outlined above.

Assist customer service team on availability of markets when needed

Requirements:

Active 4-40 or 2-20 License

Experience in a Personal Lines Insurance Sales role

Professional communication skills including verbal and written

Ability to Prioritize, Organize and Execute daily tasks

Advanced Typing Skills and experience with Outlook and Microsoft Office Products

AMS360 Experience a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
