Who we are:
Studio M is a family owned and operated company of about 70 people based in St. Louis, Missouri (Fenton area). We design, manufacture, and distribute art-based gift and décor products for the home and garden.

Engage independent retailers in value-oriented, consultative dialogue about Studio M product offerings. Actively listen to responses and ask relevant questions to determine how you can help your accounts meet their goals. Empower independent retailers to grow their business by providing product recommendations, merchandising ideas, and creative retail solutions.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Manage an existing set of business-to-business accounts – independently-owned gift and garden retailers across the US and Canada.
- Prospect via phone, email, and other methods to get qualified leads to build your pipeline and continually meet your individual and team quotas.
- Proactively identify, contact, and cultivate new business opportunities while conducting high-level conversations with key buying personas; uncover business challenges and identify relevant new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with Sales management to assist in the development of personal call strategies and messaging, driving more opportunities for new business.
- Consistently achieve revenue goals, activity metrics, and conversion rates.
- Lead phone and screen sharing calls to connect with accounts to secure orders and reorders. While working with customers, navigate our website and other applications with confidence.
- Ensure CRM tool is updated and maintained to standard.
- Coach and direct retailers to grow their business in partnership with Studio M.
- Collaborate with our customer care team to ensure smooth handoffs, customer satisfaction, and customer retention.
- Occasionally may be required to travel to trade shows (1-2 weeks per year)
- Support a continuous improvement culture on the team and throughout the company.
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with other departments.
- Uphold company quality and brand standards.
- Be considerate of all company assets.
Qualifications:
- Strong communications skills. Must have clear understandable diction over the phone.
- Internet and computer savvy, with data entry skills for entering orders. Aptitude for exploring and teaching yourself how to use new software tools.
- Self-motivated and disciplined. Looking for a career, not just a job.
- Desire and ability to learn superior sales and marketing skills.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Successful experience with sales – qualifying leads, prospecting, closing sales, growing reorder business, or customer retention.
- Experience using Hubspot, Salesforce, or a similar CRM system is preferred.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, analytical skills and written communication skills to manage priorities and processes.
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
