We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Catering Sales Representative to join our team at Plate Perfect Catering. As a Catering Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in promoting our services, generating sales, and managing relationships with both new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients through regular contact, face-to-face meetings, and networking events.
• Coordinate with clients to understand their specific catering needs and preferences.
• Create customized catering proposals that meet client needs and budget.
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
• Work closely with the catering team to ensure the proper execution of events.
• Assist in the planning and execution of events, when required.
• Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout the event lifecycle.
• Conduct post-event evaluations to determine how future events could be improved.
• Keep track of sales, revenues, invoices, and prepare reports on this information.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent. A degree in Sales, Hospitality, Marketing, Business, or related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in a catering sales role or similar position.
• Strong understanding of the catering industry and latest market trends.
• Excellent customer service and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM software.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.
• A passion for food and event planning is a must.
