Universal ComOne is currently hiring an Inside Account Manager to join our team. The Account Manager is a value-add resource within Universal ComOne and will be responsible for calling on an existing book of business and follow up on leads that flow into the organization. The Account Manager will also help resolve customer issues and problems as they arise, and cross-sell tailored solutions based on our suite of business technology solutions.

We’re a true single-source solution provider who can help any size business consolidate the number of vendors they deal with to help reduce costs and streamline troubleshooting when needed, eliminating the frustration of finger-pointing between vendors.
As an Inside Account Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Interacting directly with existing customers and prospective new customers over the phone to position and cross-sell new products and services
- Communicating with clients to ensure that all their needs are understood and addressed
- Support and drive company initiatives relative to sales and support of our customer base
- Building strong client relationships to maintain current business, cross-sell new products and services, and acquire new customers
- Contacting customers for Quarterly and Annual reviews
- Preform end-user training on our hosted phone system capabilities
- Entering relevant information into our CRM daily to ensure the capture of relevant activity and opportunity within our account base
The ideal candidate must have the following skills:
- Excellent people skills with a strong ability to communicate effectively, particularly over the phone
- Ability to multitask with strong organization through note taking
- Desire and willingness to learn new technologies and ability to adapt as the industry changes
- Good planning, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to assess situations and present solutions based on the requisite opportunity
- Effective verbal and written communications skills in a professional environment
- Great analytical skills with the ability to communicate technical terms in language everyone can understand
- Telecommunications industry knowledge is not required but some background in Technology is preferred
- Ability to travel to customer offices for meetings in the Gulf Coast area
- College experience preferred
Position includes base salary listed. Commission is in addition to base salary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
