Position: Insurance Account Manager

Supervisor:
The Insurance Client Service Representative is responsible for providing critical support to the Account Manager. They will be an expert on system accuracy as well as the accuracy of issued policies and endorsements. In this role, attention to detail and a strong customer service focus is essential.
Insurance Client Service Representative Responsibilities:
- Directly reports to the Account Manager
- Serve as advisor and technician for the sales team
- Responsible for day-to-day servicing of accounts under the direction of the Account Manager. Specific responsibilities can develop over time at the direction of the account manager and the sales team leader.
- Endorsement processing, certificate issuance, policy review
- Completes follow through processing of account changes in a timely manner
- Initiates appropriate correspondence with carriers and clients, all under the direction of the Account Manager
- Proficient in all of our software platforms through training and mentorship (EPIC, CSR24, Via One)
- Advises sales team on the health, risk and profitability of each account, serves as primary technician to balance the Premium Difference Report
- Secure documentation required that must be retained by the agency; including signed applications, rejection of coverage, and bind requests; mitigates probability of Errors & Omissions Liability
- Follow company procedures with respect to essential duties and responsibilities (feedback welcome if a workflow is not working)
- Required to document client management system on all tasks including dropping important emails into client management system and updating applications within the client as necessary
Insurance Client Service Representative Qualifications:
- At minimum, high school diploma or GED
- Previous experience working as a client service representative preferred
- In-depth knowledge of insurance products and policy lines
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of database software
- Excellent typing skills
- Advanced knowledge of telephone and call forwarding systems
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,907.06 - $55,285.92 per year
