Full description of the position

Job Summary:

The Business Development Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and administering the development, implementation and utilization of the Learning Management System housing the Jurisprudence Assessments and potentially other tools for service provision to State Boards and other CCE lines of business, including the Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) curriculum. Works collaboratively with IT support, external vendors, EBCC and assessment department staff to develop and maintain the LMS platform and included components. Provides service to State Boards regarding the jurisprudence assessments by working collaboratively with the Boards, to ensure all regulatory compliance requirements are met and to ensure data is accurately presented in the LMS platform. Oversees the ongoing daily operations of the LMS which includes exemplary customer service. In addition, the coordinator will be responsible for a wide range of administrative duties within Business Development.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

LMS Duties

  • Primary contact for jurisprudence state boards
  • Submits monthly jurisprudence reports to jurisprudence state boards
  • Provide daily technical support to CCE Academy users
  • Onboards new jurisprudence clients in collaboration with the Assessment group and IT
  • Manages LMS functions which include monitoring course content and evaluating processes to ensure they are completed within given timeframe
  • Analyze, identify, and communicate LMS system and business requirements to State Boards
  • Works closely with EBCC to maintain the GCDF curriculum in CCE Academy
  • Provides customer service to internal partners that use the GCDF curriculum in CCE Academy
  • Investigate and resolve any data or system inconsistencies or discrepancies
  • Work with IT and vendor to ensure proper setup and learning with the LMS system for new clients
  • Ensures State Boards are informed of the status of their projects which include updates, changes, implementation and assisting with content management
  • Identifies and solves problems that may delay project completion of updates and/or launch
  • Provides monthly jurisprudence stats report to BD director
  • Works with members of the Foundation and Professional Services Division to identify and resolve issues with content
  • Develops and maintains relevant and current BOT questions for CCE Academy
  • Surveys jurisprudence state boards annually for customer satisfaction
  • Works with BD director with marketing CCE Academy and jurisprudence to potential clients

Administrative Duties

  • Response to or direct messages from CCE Advertising on CCE website and create a lead list for the credential inquiry
  • Call lapsed CCE credential holders monthly
  • Writes monthly social media posts for approval
  • Maintains marketing swag inventory and advises BD when items are low
  • Completes BD director's credit card report to accounting monthly
  • Maintains BD processes and procedures in BD SharePoint site
  • Send timesheet reminders to staff
  • Collects BD mail from mailroom

Required Education/Experience:

  • Associate degree or equivalent from 2-year college or technical school
  • Two years' related administrative experience required
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2 year of customer service experience required
  • 2 year of database management and/or computer experience required
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
