Job Description:
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this position will lead the renewable natural gas (RNG) business development team. You and your team will be responsible for actively identifying, nurturing, and acquiring new clients and development opportunities to expand the Kinetrex RNG portfolio. The ideal candidate will be a key leader within the company to foster development and profitability by generating RNG sales leads, successfully manage various growth strategies (i.e. organic, joint venture, acquisitions) to develop RNG supply opportunities, while being comfortable interacting and negotiating with C level executives and key decision makers.

Position Requirements
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Lead the business development team in developing and maintaining a healthy pipeline of opportunities on both a sales and RNG supply standpoint.
- Build, train, and actively manage a growing business development team aligned with sales/revenue growth and overall company objectives.
- Foster a collaborative team environment for individual development and team development.
- Oversee and enhance business development processes and engagements (i.e., presentations, RFIs, RFPs, conferences, etc).
- Proven experience in developing comprehensive market research, strategic analysis, and business plans.
- Clear understanding of developing capital intensive business proposals, and financial modeling required to ensure company meets its financial return thresholds.
- Actively prospect and manage book of business, effectively educating commercial customers on offered products/services.
- Achieve individual and team sales objectives and complete monthly reports in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to derive and translate customer insights into sales and marketing strategies.
- Utilize the CRM to manage, forecast, and provide information about your prospects.
Educational Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, Advanced degree or MBA preferred
- 5+ years of experience driving and achieving business development results
- 3+ years of building, training and managing a team
- Experience in generating new B2B partnerships
- A self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset
- Strong analytical and problem resolution skills
- Work collaboratively, as well as independently
- Demonstrated leadership with strong presentation skills and the ability to influence a wide range of audiences
