EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business administration, computer science, or a related field is required. Six years of progressively responsible experience in business relationship management, product owner, strategic planning, process improvement, change management, and/or performance monitoring/evaluation required. Must have excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills. Directly related work experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis in lieu of a degree.

SUMMARY
Develops and fosters business relationships between the Department of Technology and internal business groups of the Authority. Ensures that technology resources, services and efforts are aligned to support current and future business needs. Leads and implements strategies that leverage technology service delivery, performance and efficiency. Ensures that technology services adhere to applicable MARTA’s technology enterprise architecture standards and guidelines. Anticipates and eliminates barriers that may impact technology service delivery and performance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Identifies and validates business objectives and generates solutions that align with MARTA’s technology strategy and standards. Serves as business liaison between Technology and the business units of the Authority. Proactively communicates/collaborates with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements.
2. Works in close collaboration with business stakeholders and planning teams to ensure that technology services are aligned to support business needs and priorities.
3. Ensures that business units are well-informed on operational implications of technology-related decisions.
4. Performs technology process mapping, customer journey mapping and business process modeling to forecast and improve service delivery, accessibility and sustainability.
5. Develops and implements business innovation and transformation strategies that leverage business needs and performance.
6. Serves as the primary point of contact for technology service delivery and planning related matters. Works closely with IT leadership teams and business stakeholders to measure and monitor customer success factors and key performance indicators (KPIs).
7. Performs other duties as assigned.
