Delta is a manufacturer and distributor of Benchtop and Stationary Power Tools. We are a prime manufacturer of 90 Percent of the products we sell and distribute. We are also the world’s leading manufacturer of miter saws and table saws.
This role will focus on grown sales with 30 existing customers in our Independent Sales Channel in North and Latin America. Position is in North America as well as Latin America. Your role will focus not only in an outbound effort but you will also provide phone and order entry support as an overflow resource when needed. The role will be based out of our North American Headquarters in Spartanburg South Carolina but may be required to work out of a Greenville South Carolina office.
Education/Experience
- · 4-Year College Degree in a relevant field (Required)
- · 2-5 years of experience in sales (Required)
- · Proven History Growing sales (Required)
- · Outbound Sales Experience in consumer or hard goods (Required)
- Service Sales Experience will not be considered.
- · Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (Required)
- · Advanced Excel skills (Required)
- · Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- · Must be able to work positively within a team environment
- · Must have excellent customer service skills with the ability to sell products to a wide
range of customers
- · Stable work history (Required)
- · Internet sales and marketing experience (Preferred)
- · Knowledge of Power Tools (Preferred)
- Wood working machinery industrial experience (Preferred)
- · Must be self-motivated, including high attention to detail with ability to focus and multi-tasks (Required)
- · This role will focus on grown sales with 30 existing customers located in North America as well as Latin America. Your role will focus not only an outbound effort, but you will also provide phone and order entry support as an overflow resource when needed.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Initial focus will be improving relationship and sales with existing customer base.
- Part of responsibilities will be helping with inbound calls while part will be outbound contact with existing customers. (50% 50% initially)
- Drive revenue, placing orders, checking stock, pricing, and assisting in problem resolution.
- Communicate directly with existing and new customers by telephone and/or email
- Provide customers with information about products related to order status, product information, account status, pricing
- Take orders and resolve common or general customer questions and concerns
- Timely and accurate data entry of sales orders and/or purchase orders into the system
- Create personal marketing plan
- Continually strive for excellence in serving the customer and assisting the team
- Responsible for customer follow-up
- Perform other duties as assigned
