Inside Sales/CSR
The Inside Sales/CSR will act as a liaison, provide product/services information and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency. Must be confident at troubleshooting and investigate issues to resolve a customer complaint. The goal is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction.
This position requires a self-motivated, self-starter, positive, energetic team-player who enjoys an ever-changing environment focused on continuous improvement of people, process, and product. Working in a manufacturer setting is a plus.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provides fast, courteous responses to internal and external customers.
- Independently discerns and solves concerns or complaints from customer.
- Maintains active communication between customers, sales staff and manufacturing personnel concerning order status. Review client specifications and provide efficient and economical production alternatives when necessary.
- Maintain knowledge of all Company products, services, and promotions
- Expedites or revises job orders as needed.
- Receives or prepares customer inquiries concerning current and past orders.
- Reviews manufacturing orders ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders.
- Maintains the daily update of production schedule.
- Communicate with external and internal customers on status or delays
- Follow up with internal departments to ensure commitment dates are on time
- Provide update with status to customers production
- Coordinates the preparation of written quotes and proposals.
- Creates estimates and communicates the information with customers and sales department.
- Arranges delivery dates and communicates shipment and delivery information.
- May act as designated representative for specific accounts.
- May maintain shipping dates in database.
- Schedule orders with production
- Coordinate dates with shipping department to ensure they are met.
- Keep track of order progress
- Generate sales leads
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Meet personal/customer service team sales targets and call handling quotas
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
- Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
- Take the extra mile to engage customers
- Greet visitors and guests, via phone or on-site visits
- Update and maintain appointment calendars; schedule meetings and events using Microsoft Outlook
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Ability to work under pressure
- Skilled in Microsoft applications
Education:
High School Degree required or Associates Degree or higher education preferred
Salary:
$19 to $21 per hour and based on knowledge and experience
